if you just want to keep me all to yourself for some reason, then by all means block me -- i don't need a person like that in my life. but if you want to support my social extraversion, please don't block me.

Yes! That's always been the weird contradiction for me. Mega extraversion for special interests but generally quite a happy little introvert goblin. Thank you! Also the forgetting for some things while also being super focused and organised for others.

The traits they looked for in a person's face are what they call
Agreeableness
Conscientiousness
Openness
Extraversion
Neuroticism

These are traits you can learn with proper education, training, and mentoring.

Which means the better you're educated the higher you score.

It's class all over again.

Look at this nonsense: "So Mr Guenzel and his co-authors used an algorithm to analyse the pictures of 96,000 mba graduates, and extract what they call the “Photo Big Five”—as they rename the Big Five personality traits of agreeableness, conscientiousness, extraversion, neuroticism and openness."

'Our results revealed that Extraversion,
Agreeableness, Conscientiousness, and Openness to Experience were all significantly different. In
contrast, Neuroticism did not reach statistical significance.'

Or cynically... It's just random with some RLHF/safety training impacts.

"Introverts" have different skills and see the world differently. Not that introvert is a real thing. We're all different in different situations.

I'm extremely introverted unless there's a reason for me to display extraversion. (Ie, I want a job or need to accomplish a task.)

It does indeed seem to be that article

From the lack of mention of surveys, tests, or other such methods of 'determining' the Big Five traits in this article, Iit sounds like they believe Al can psychoanalyze a person from little more than photos... techbros need to stop wasting money trying to justify phrenology & eugenics-based racism.

absolute magical thinking phrenology nonsense. utter brain worm pabulum. How the hell did someone actually think this was a valid research study. What the absolute codswallop.

Extraversion Probably Does Not Cause Political Participation. Evidence from Two Genetically Informed Designs
A substantial literature in political psychology has emphasized the importance of personality traits for understanding differences in political participation. One such trait is extraversion. However,...

However, there were some differences between crowdsourced and panel samples, particularly in cognitive performance and the relationships between age, Openness, and Extraversion.

Intro- und Extraversion sind keine festen Schubladen. Alle Menschen bewegen sich in einem Spektrum. Was das heißt?

Selbst sehr introvertierte Menschen verhalten sich manchmal extrovertiert und umgekehrt.

I'm thinking: r = .-25 with neuroticism, .20 with extraversion; .15 between openness and having zoom on your computer in the first place.

Optimistic bias related #Adherence of metastatic #BreastCancer patients to oral anticancer treatments: negative association between adherence rate and self-perception of treatment adherence. Personality matters: conscientiousness = risk awareness; extraversion = overconfidence. #Oncology

I realized I never posted my own results, despite being the one who recommended it ...
My results haven't varied much in the past year. Gallade is my #1 again.

I must be neurotic!
I must be demented!
To think im worthy of all (my own) attention!

I transfered from introversion to extraversion because I can't stay alone anymore 😅

Introverts of the world, unite! We must seize the means of extraversion!

I’ll end where I often do:
However you configure the pieces, psychopathy is low Agreeableness (antagonism/meanness), low Conscientiousness (disinhibition), low Neuroticism, and high Extraversion — the “old” boldness.

Differences in personality explain a $5k difference in annual salary, research by Alberhasky suggests.

Conscientiousness, extraversion and openness positively predict income; neuroticism (emotional instability) and agreeableness are negative predictors:

I presume whatever it is, it is orthogonal to the personality trait that makes people send voice messages (probably extraversion?) instead of texts.
