Specifically, we found a new IBD-specific epithelial cell type emerging the expresses PCSK6. We identified putative signaling between PCSK6⁺ epithelial cells (Kitl⁺) and Kit⁺ ILC3s, as well as upregulation of IGF1 in fibroblasts that may contribute to epithelial remodeling.

New data on #mitochondria Aminoacyl-#tRNASynthetase, DARS2, reports secretion by #airway #epithelial cells in response to #TNFα, and a role in #paracrine signaling resulting in M1 #macrophage like phenotype in recipient THP1 cells.
