I upgraded my old Ender5 to Klipper the other week and it’s a lot faster but I can’t get the Z-axis offset right so everything’s a mess at the moment.

After 3 failed prints and a 4th one Killing my toohead i got a new toolhead and now it's back to printing for the suit. This one is a 44 hour one, hoping the power won't go out cuz of bad weather tomorrow.Mmmm yes ender5+ torture.

Well it took the whole day and flashing the board directly with a somewhat dodgy Creality app that's no longer maintained that I got off some random guy but I have #klipper talking to my #ender5. #3dprinting

Downside to doing this 3D printing for the cosplay is that like, I really want to upgrade. The printbed on the ender3 is too small to print the main body of the helmet in one piece. Maybe if I can get lucky with marketplace on a Ender5 plus...

Tested some photogrammetry a while back and ran it on my Ender5+ to test as a proof of concept. Printer was due for an overhaul, thus the poor quality and layer lines. Photogrammetry involves taking a bunch of photos of something and processing it into a 3D image.
