Much appreciate your support on the Encinitas bike lane carnage.

If you happen to know any voters in this fine city, please let them know. Council men Jim O'Hara, Bruce Ehlers, Marco San Antonio and Luke Shaeffer think streets are only for cars.

Need solace. My Encinitas City Council just voted to rip out protected bike lanes on one of our main arterials, in front of a High School.

Reasoning? "These were put in to discourage vehicular travel and boost the climate lobby."

What does one say to that?

Encinitas is going to end up spending a total of $7.5M to do nothing with a dangerous road in front of a school.

We spent $4M to make it safer, city council just voted to spend $3.5M to undo the improvements and return it to it's more dangerous configuration.

Yes, to bike safety. Let’s catch up with the civilized world.

Sad that Encinitas paid $100,000 for a religious scam claiming Jesus has an opinion on vaccines. Jesus doesn’t have an opinion on vaccines or shoe requirements or chair design, or any other OSHA or safety related work requirements.
