Spent the day in Portsmouth today. I considered taking my A7R III but I just love this little thing so much. Small cameras are just so good to carry around!

I kinda want to replace the A7R III with the A7C, but R3’s evf and resolution are really nice to have…

I use the evf as well. As to mirro slap, I hear you. The Z8 has virtually no sound when you take a shot. Its hard to tell.

レフ機とミラーレス、カメラと名前がついてるが性質は全くの別物なので、そこに違和感が出てしまうのかなと思いました。
実際自分はNikonですがレフ機から今のミラーレスに乗り換えるのに違和感がありすぎてなかなか乗り換えられなかったです。（OVFとEVF等々）
実際ミラーレスに乗り換えたけど違和感によりレフ機に戻った人も見ているので…。
またミラーレスだと撮影する写真のイメージがEVFなどである程度見えてしまうため、レフ機の撮ってみないとどんな写真に仕上がっているかが分からないという楽しさが無くなってしまうために面白みが足りなく感じてしまう傾向が強いのも要因なのかなと思います。

The worst thing about the Sony A7cii is the lack of a tilt screen; the fully articulated screen is worse to use than even I expected so, I will consider it a fixed screen like my Leica TL2 (at least the TL2 EVF tilts!!!). I cant see it ever replacing my beloved Sony A7ii ;-)

Thanks! That sounds encouraging! When you stop down the aperture is there any change in the EVF? My understanding is that the auto indexing doesn't work quite the same as it does on a film camera. I might be wrong on this.

Now that the 2 grand price is confirmed for the OM System OM-3 camera, I can't help but think most buyers don't care about a stacked sensor, but they might about the 2.36M dot EVF. Left hand dial could have been ISO too much empty space. Price v Zf seems unrealistic

Honestly, this is my first “real” camera so coming from a phone it is still a learning experience.
The lack of EVF is not something that bothers me, but I can totally see why it is such an essential feature for more experienced users.

my x100f has to go back in for repair — for some reason occasionally the evf and optical viewfinder lever toggle makes the evf a mess and the parallax guideline a little off kilter. i can compose expose and shoot an x100-series camera blindfolded so it hasn't annoyed me enough to send back again lol
