Enjoying #IOP2025 and it was my honour to chair this symposium and present our progress with the #EEGManyLabs replications. Learned a lot from the talks by Martin Constant, Peter Clayson, Aleya Marzuki and Katharina Paul

This protocol constitutes a close replication of the work of Miltner et al. (doi.org/10.1038/17126), inspired by the #EEGManyLabs project. We will examine the role of gamma, alpha and other neural oscillations in aversive associative learning across more than 300 participants at 9 different labs.

This is just the first in our #EEGManyLabs series—showing how collaborative EEG science can refine major theories. Watch this space for more. In the meantime, read the full paper for the deep dive: doi.org/10.1016/j.co...
Huge thanks to all labs involved!

Is it valence, or is it expectancy?

Within the #EEGManyLabs project, across 13 labs we aimed to replicate Hajcak et al. (2005) findings on FRN & P300 modulation during feedback processing. Check the outcomes of this replication just published in Cortex!!

If you are interested in psychology studies using EEG, I recommend the #EEGManyLabs project, which includes several multi-site replication projects at different stages of completion. For example, our project is definitely open to more contributors. Feel free to message me about it!
