And we haven't gotten to the algorithm, and I have a particular distaste for "the algorithm" as an explanation because even if you remove "the algorithm" wholesale from social media, the same effects would occur, though perhaps less amplified. Because it's primarily driven by human behaviour.

I owe mama Seane 🌽 a debt of gratitude 🙏 for all of it, & we saw an ad for #Kripalu on the untaxed unregulated unpublisher of amygdala driven hate machine algorithm ad revenue #GoogleYouTube. We loved that place too & it was such an easy thing to take a 🚌 out of Port Authority up to Stockbridge.

Resulting in them having to be towed instead of driven away by a person when they fail, as they very often do. Drivers are very much needed, as Zoox regularly demonstrates.

bsky.app/profile/anic...
A flatbed tow truck arrives to remove two Zoox undrivable robots failed in traffic lanes:

Spring Mountain Rd by I-15, Las Vegas

When a Zoox robot can't drive itself, it has to be towed by design and FMVSS exemption Zoox recently won.

They purposely did this to themselves.

I'm just some schmuck living outside Philly but I've driven past the Wharton School so my economic qualifications are probably on a par with dear leader's. That said, this sure makes it sound like he disappeared the monies.

Was watching the original “Scarface” and this was driven home really well by the cinematography, especially in Little Boy’s death scene
The "Elon is Joyless" discussion really highlights something I've been noticing- the rapacious insatiable American dream doesn't really appeal to people who are happy and grounded. It's sort of an aspiration of the unbalanced.

The AI agent "arms race" is on.

This isn't about hype; it's about automating Blocker-removal at scale.

This is where the political winds have been blowing for a long time, so I don't really know what else to say. Getting back in touch with sport the last 18 months has been really beneficial to me existing as a human being but seems to have driven a whole segment of the world absolutely crazy.

MAGA a Cult of Personality

Authoritarian communist states often elevate their leaders (e.g., Mao, Stalin, Kim) to near-mythic status.
Most MAGA supporters treat Donald Trump in a similarly personalized and charismatic leadership role, rather than purely a policy-driven one.

Second– in an era broadly speaking of media-driven consumerism and participation

it’s logistically impossible for the experience of a race to be conveyed via tv as it is with football, even leaving aside all the investment in peripherals (sportscenter, commercials, local media, etc)

As recently as 2019 Pam Bondi worked as a for-profit detention industry lobbyist.

I am convinced that the increased ICE budget and the horror that we are seeing on our streets is profit driven.

I think it's a shame that our news media turns a blind eye to this motive.

That's how the ledge grab works for example. It just locks the system to its priority, so at that point it has pretty much full control over the player velocity until the character jumps out of it!
And if they need dependencies: the whole system is data-driven, so I can just slot in the data I need.

Legacy media's incentives are broken. Most 'journalism' is now narrative-driven opinion, not objective fact. Read primary sources. Engage directly with creators & engineers. Think for yourself. Signal > Noise.

During the W. era, the narrative of personal redemption was significant for the self-conception of that very evangelical-driven movement. Now, from Vance to Nuzzi, here the source of sin is located in the parents, where there’s much less empathy for alcoholism than a redemptive narrative allows.
