I absolutely love world building and level design.

This is a completley optional area you can travel to in #DreadRidge -- it's a bit of a walk but might be rewarding.

One of my biggest worries about being a solo developer is my game being called an asset flip.

I'm using multiple assets from the Unreal Marketplace (pretending Fab doesn't exist) all to create the town of Dread Ridge and it's inhabitants.

It's just a worry

I reworked the forest trees, using a different set. These ones don't move but look pretty fantastic.

Right now, there is about 3.5k trees.. all moving... rendering their own shadow... Something tells me, that this can and will provide a performance hit on PC's.
