New Year Eve with Kohlrabi and December goodies.
I didn't celebrate my birthday, Dongzhi, Christmas, or anything else this December, because of everything that took place earlier this year and ongoing.
Still, I got a few things and I am very grateful that I was able to.

The winter solstice is here. On this shortest day, I make the longest wish for you over tea.
May all that comes be all that you wish for.

Please, join me for a cup. #WinterSolstice #DongZhi #Tea

On the winter solstice, I offer warmth through Gongfu tea.

This precise, mindful ritual is a living piece of intangible heritage—a gift to celebrate the returning light.

What traditions bring you light today?

May all who celebrate religious festivals around the time of the Winter Solstice find joy, happiness and companionship in observing the longer days to come. Have a happy Blue Christmas, Dongzhi Festival, Inti Raymi, Shalako, Uttarayana, Willkakuti, Yalda Night, and the others too numerous to name.

December 22 Dongzhi Festival Dungeon Master Prompt: The winter festival is an annual battleground between a champion of light and a champion of darkness. Every year, the champion of light wins and the days begin to lengthen again. This year, the champion of darkness has a trick up their sleeve. #DnD

Dongzhi (meaning "Winter's Extreme") celebrates the return of longer daylight hours and the increase of positive energy. Traditions include worshipping ancestors and eating festive foods like tangyuan (glutinous rice balls) in the south or dumplings in the north.
