Had to add that the 'Sail Into the West' inclusion was a great one. I love the flavor from top to bottom. It being a voting card signifying this sort of discussion of what do we do next so perfectly fits the game.

YES i constantly struggle with this, it's why i've thought about getting into writing video essays or other long form mediums...there's so much to say and so little space to say it, and short-form platforms like bsky/twt are terrible for real discussion on p much anything

I had the misfortune of attending one of their conferences - 'Scotland's Energy' discussion led by a team of oil and gas pushers. The whole thing was always a joke. Soaking up people's campaigning energy, hope, morale... and money. Before you start - I have lots of horrible experience to draw upon.

So just now reading the paper… I see some interesting ideas but also some missing pieces. The paper discusses ReactJS but fails to discuss the Flux pattern. I would really want to include Flux in any discussion of declarative UI state management.

I agree, the function is meant to detract and distract from any tangible discussion of the actually existing state and its legal and political character by pretending it is 1885 and that a hypothetical Israel in a hypothetical scenario with a liberal democratic political structure ought to exist.

As a true crime junkie, I've been just waiting for the opportunity that came today to talk with my teacher about the possible 4th Amendment issues that arise with the use of genealogy DNA databases in criminal investigations as we did discussion on Due Process today.
