Ok what if instead of health insurance we had health deterrence?
Its very funny that I've seen well read people on here insist that the carrier is obsolete and well if the one military in the world whose primary goal is the deterrence of the US Navy doesn't think its obsolete, what does that say

Given the power of the president to pardon co-conspirators in a failed attempt and that states have a legitimate interest in protecting the right to vote, state prosecutions are fair and essential mechanisms to ensure both deterrence and accountability for criminal conduct, which states can provide.

I’m skeptical of the concept of deterrence in much of the logic of criminal justice but this is one of the contexts in which I absolutely believe in it
