Seventeen years, £110 million spent, and not a single mile of new road built. The A5 scheme to upgrade the existing road for safety was supposed to save lives & connect communities from Derry to Aughnacloy. Instead, it’s become Northern Ireland’s most expensive monument to political paralysis.
