Sales should be soon! DOS2 goes on sale for around $14 every few months or so, and definitely around the end of the year, and I'm pretty sure the first game does too.

omg please do! DOS2 is obvs my favorite (and also the only one that has romance), but both are tons of fun to play (though hard af until you figure out the combat systems)

They're similar in a LOT of ways tbh, beyond sharing physical features! DOS2 was my first real video game, & I went straight from that to trying out Dragon Age, starting with DAI. Went right from romancing Ifan to meeting Blackwall; naturally it was love at first sight, & only got better from there.

Oh yeah, the undead option in DoS2 is awesome, but it is a pretty different type of undead from the ones in WoW so it's not super great for the purpose of recreating those specifically

there's dos2 but in that game you can play as a literal skeleton, not a zombie type of undead. but it's still pretty neat, any of the races can be a skeleton.

I was so saddened that there was no dwarf to romance following DOS2, not even an NPC tease somewhere in the world.

also got 5 achievements left in dos2...the struggle, I'll work on it after bg3 🦭 once thats done ill be sad ik but that's for my future self to worry about 🥰
