View the morning vistas
They tug, pull, ensure

My senses drawn
To that morning hymn

Sun crawls over the horizon
Light beams through curtains

My eyes lit with hope
For a day of possibilities dawns

We wear them

And betray us

Such fine materials star stuff
All elements flowing
Skin and flesh
