#CyberBrick
The Cyberbrick official controller sticks need sanding and smoothing to move nicely. They grate unpleasantly without it as the layer lines catch on the joystick covers.
The one on the left has been processed, the one on the right is yet to be smoothed. PLA marble red granite has a rough surface too.

And after the usual struggle with getting rubber treads onto the sprockets, it is done! The colours are funky, but tonight I can try turning it all on!

Last night I printed TPU treads for my build of the Cyberbrick forklift. They came out good first time! I’m using TPU for AMS.

More glued parts. Getting the tiny magnets in is interesting. They can need a bit of force to fit, so I need something more substantial than the tweezers, but then they are so magnets and get stuck to the long nose pliers.

However, after a minor disassembly and reassembly to get a screw I’d missed on the lights, the whole Forklift model is taking shape.

Some application of force was needed for the tabs on this cab component.

It’s starting to look like a thing. I’ll print TPU later as that’s another filament swap, but I’m pleased with how this is coming out.
November 24, 2025 at 1:36 PM
This is the first major pasta meal incident with the Cyberbrick kits. I did swap the filament colour, but it’s still PLA and still the same sliver settings. Perhaps the bed had some finger grease? I do try to wipe it down between prints. I’ll reprint just the object(s) that came out wrong tomorrow.
November 23, 2025 at 11:41 PM
I gotta wait for the wheels on the other side to print, but getting the electronics in now. I’ll also need to try the treads in TPU later too.
November 23, 2025 at 8:49 PM
Now I’ve printed another plate I can start assembling. This so plate 3 of the Cyberbrick forklift.
November 23, 2025 at 8:37 PM
I’ve started assembling parts of the Cyberbrick forklift. I’ve laid out the trays I’ll need. Since I want to use grey filament (where black would be) I’m printing a filament storage desiccant holder before the next forklift stage.
The gearbox here looks similar to TT motors right?
November 23, 2025 at 12:25 PM
I’ve also now got the first bed of the Cyberbrick forklift printed. In green as I don’t have yellow PLA. I’ll use white for the contrast. I do have yellow TPU so ironically the treads will be yellow. Yes I started sliding off before thinking it was a good photo.
November 22, 2025 at 11:05 PM
Here it is. Again, I perhaps would print some parts there in contrast colours later, but it works for now.
November 22, 2025 at 11:03 PM
The Cyberbrick controller came together nicely. I need to add batteries, and to smooth the skirts around the joysticks as they grate a bit. Photos coming soon…
November 22, 2025 at 6:30 PM
I see why they did it in black. I think in hindsight, I’ll later reprint controls in a consistent contrasting colour with this panel.
November 22, 2025 at 3:50 PM
And bed 3 is ready… odd pause instruction at the end for no purpose I understood…
November 22, 2025 at 3:38 PM
Enjoying assembling the electronics here. I quickly switched to my #ifixit driver over the free ones with the Cyberbrick kit though.
November 22, 2025 at 3:35 PM
Bed 2 of the Cyberbrick controller. Once I’ve cleaned that up I can assemble the electronics onto it. And get bed 3 printing in another colour.

I'm starting to assemble the BambuLabs CyberBrick "official" remote (makerworld.com/en/models/13...). Bed 2 is still printing, but bed 1 should get me somewhere, I hope. The tiny JST's are a bit fiddly, but the assembly guide is well laid out.

Controller first bed printed .
Now to get cleaning up with pliers, craft knife and a deburring tool while the next bed prints.

My Cyberbrick adventure so far, I’ve printed the Gridfinity box and trays, and I have started on the remote.

If you sent a cybertruck, you’d just have to send another truck to tow it back.

They’re up to nine different cybertruck recalls, none of which address that minor “electronic door handles trap you inside to burn to death in a crash” issue common to several Tesla models.

Once again, we can see that the Tesla Service vehicle is a Ford Sprinter van.

Cybertrucks must not have good hauling capacity or storage options.
