what on earth

“Micah Lasher, 43, a state assemblyman and Nadler protégé from the West Side; Alex Bores, 35, a state assemblyman from the East Side; and Jami Floyd, 51, a veteran journalist and lawyer, have announced their campaigns for the seat“ They have credibility in our district. Could be a bad look for Jack.

They have lost all credibility.

This is the President of the US. Isn't he supposed to be doing his day job instead of suing over some article by the BBC?

They need to tell Trump he's a public official and to go .... himself.
When Trump speaks it's a constant flowing diarrhia waterfall of lies.
But the issue is BBC credibility?

Lost all credibility for what exactly?

credibility used to be different even a few decades ago. paul graham wrote two substantive technical books about ANSI common lisp.
it’s also notable how the techbros of today really don’t read *books* anymore - this was really not the case for the Tech Guys of earlier generations, far as I’ve been able to tell
certain things associated with intelligence like math and chess get so weirdly fetishized by small minded people who cannot see the forest for the trees

They have zero credibility

The Data that is Science Fiction. No credibility. Trump fired the individual who last reported accurate data. The insane President likes to make up numbers

I don’t know if their unimaginativeness is a ding against their credibility. If there’s a concerted effort to abduct and study people it would make sense they all looked the same.

But all that’s neither here nor there. People often do recall the beginning and end of the abduction encounters.

have they lost so much credibility that they are going for a job as ball cleaners on his Scotland course?
Why doesnt the bbc just badly edits something about kamala now and is done with it
November 12, 2025 at 4:49 AM
Except for the shitler ball gargling BBC, have they lost so much credibility that they are going for a job as ball cleaners on his Scotland course?

And I hope I've earned the credibility you'd believe I'd say exactly the same even if Mitchell and the Government he serves in didn't give me attacks of bilious distemper. :)

Tonight’s special from the Twilight Zone: the White House now cites DoorDash for economic data—because nothing says fiscal credibility like fries with your forecast. What’s next? Basing GDP on GrubHub? Inflation reports by Uber Eats?
In this Twilight Zone, the data arrives lukewarm and overcharged.

Newsom going international, developing relationships and credibility with foreign players …he’s running in 28.
I just signed an MOU with the Brazilian Governor of Parà, @helderbarbalhoreal.bsky.social, to strengthen cooperation on wildfire prevention and response.

We're identifying areas of risk, enhancing forest monitoring, and sharing research and expertise for emergency response.

Anti-renewables conservation charity grilled over use of AI
Ananda-Rajah said:
“The Oakey windfarm is a complete fabrication … Is it not conceivable given your reliance on AI, given the sloppiness of your own work, that you have misled community members? … You have undermined your own credibility.

Most researchers confuse complexity with credibility.

You load your pitch with jargon,
hoping it sounds impressive.

Result:

Nobody understands what you do.

Not your parents.
Not your funders.
Not your colleagues.

Some of that credibility, brains, integrity, morality that Caroline Kennedy has demonstrated perhaps can be assumed to be absorbed by her son Jack.
I certainly will be listening to what he has to say

So, the Captain voted for Tramp and Hegseth. Loses all credibility in my eyes.

You're also right that it does have to do with the credibility of sources. Perhaps I'm describing the sinking feeling I get when I reach the end of a long sentence and then realize that it's only one side of the story (and one the news piece isn't even actually standing behind).
