in fact, there are testimonies (on this website! by former contributors!) of said critiques being *logged in a database* to be used in employee reviews
This is wrong tbh. The truth is he has gotten more latitude than a lot of ppl who work at nyt. They muzzle everyone who works there. Publicly criticizing nyt or nyt employees is subject to termination. And they track employees "offending" tweets, etc in a database.
"they also muzzled bouie because he pointed this out in public"

Callaghan was a good PM in very tough circumstances (with the disclaimer his own choices as Chancellor and Home Secretary the decade before were contributors to those circumstances).

While you can't blame every journalist trying to do good work & make a living for the institutional failure of the corporations that pay them, it's wild to see NYT contributors losing their absolute shit that anyone would dare question their integrity or wonder if they were complicit in the coverup

Although the vast majority of contributors are busily working on Godot 4, a small problematic group refuse to stop improving Godot 3

They've been working hard on the newest (oldest?) feature branch: #GodotEngine 3.7. Read all about it in our latest blog post:

Dev snapshot: Godot 3.7 dev 1 – Godot Engine
Since Godot 3.6's release in September 2024, we have been working hard on the new feature branch: 3.7.

We know for a fact NYT has extremely protective social media practices for its contributors, evidenced by multiple writers (most notably on here, Bouie) deleting posts and issuing retractions. You will not get any contributor to admit to bad things about the paper.

A large part of this is because there are wealthy democrat campaign contributors also in the Epstein files and they want to protect their own/cash cows. This is not a single-party issue.

multi-volume perfect bound slipcase set of these emails from the world's least literate creeps with little headshots and minibios of all the contributors, maps, etc.

There are NYT contributors today arguing that without the knowledge of what's specifically in the emails it was a non-story.

The NYT that never ran an article about unverified emails before, especially not ones surrounding a politician running for president

A paper I've written for for years is giving a more respectful hearing to a woman who violated every tenet of journalistic ethics to conduct an affair with repulsive Nazi eugenicist with the blood of hundreds of children on his hands than it did to its own staff & contributors re: BLM & trans rights

Mainstream palaeoart often seems lily-white in terms of the diversity of its contributors. But pieces of palaeoart that rank among the -MOST SEEN- works in the entire field were examples of black craftsmanship. This week came news on the passing of Garfield G. Minott (1966-2025)... cont

After 5 years as Canada’s ambassador to the United Nations, Bob Rae made his final remarks to the General Assembly hall on Thurs as he retires from the diplomatic position. 'We all have to be contributors to change,' he said.

Thanks for your many years of public service on behalf of Canadians, Bob.

I still think Willie Green’s most underrated trait was developing young draft picks into NBA Players:
Trey Murphy
Herb Jones
Jose Alvarado
Dyson Daniels
EJ Liddell
Karlo Matkovik
Jordan Hawkins
Yves Missi
Jeremiah Fears
Derik Queen
Micah Peavy

He turned everyone but EJ into NBA contributors.

Help me understand. You have spend several days "both sides"ing the fact that 40 people left a creative network all within the same week, and you think that after like 10 years of contributors dealing with the website that we hadn't "organized" enough?

one of the biggest contributors to Elon’s loser energy is that he desperately wants to be cool, but doesn’t understand that a big part of being cool is appearing unaffected. he’s one of the most affected men of all time.
Joyce Carol Oates owned Elon so hard he's spent the last day posting about movies he hasn't seen in 15 years
