There's a reason no ethical lawyer will ever sleep with a client whether or not there is apparent consent. The power gradient is just too steep. No consent can ever be truly freely given. Enthusiastic, informed consent cannot be freely given if there are even implied consequences for saying no.

My most woke opinion is that children cannot consent to religious rites
None of them actually want to do the work to manufacture the consent or build even the slightest amount of political support
I've got to say I don't think the president has quite calculated the rally around the flag affect correctly of a war that no one wants and no one thinks is a good idea that will 100% cost American lives.
