After learning that Logan Clegg had purchased a one-way plane ticket to Germany, authorities asked Verizon to provide his cell phone location without first obtaining a warrant.

On April 17, Emmy award-winning documentary filmmaker Ken Burns, co-directors Sarah Botstein and David Schmidt, and historian Rick Atkinson visited Lexington and Concord to discuss Burns’ upcoming six-part, 12-hour documentary series, “The American Revolution,” a powerful story about how this country was founded and its war for independence. Their visit kicked off a weekend of Patriots’ Day events in Lexington, including reenactments of the Battle of Lexington, that honored 250 years since the first armed conflicts of the American Revolution.  Now, after eight years of production, “The American Revolution” will premiere on Sunday, Nov. 16 at 8 p.m. on @PBS.  The documentary is an opportunity for all of us to come together to better understand the origins and promise of American democracy.
