If you teach post-16 chemistry, you’ll know learners can struggle with Hess’s cycles. Which is why teacher Faisal developed this approach with chalk and shaving foam

As term starts you might be thinking of including more cogsci type things in your classroom... but what does that actually mean?

Students can access the mark schemes themselves. It doesn't mean they will!

Proponents of #CogSci and #CogSciSci could keep up-to-date with research. It doesn't mean they will!

There are some low-cost examples - e.g. Research EDs and CogSciSci which are day/less than £50 - which I think still get *some* traction, but I don't think people are quite so enthusiastic about going along to Trust/internal CPD in terms of sharing publicly and live blogging etc.

Advocates for CLT argue that their evidence base is broad and robust. It is neither. Research findings are “cherry-picked” to support particular beliefs about the correct way to teach.
