librequake breaks in engoo so i have a bug filed for that.....on codeberg!!!!

codeberg.org/leilei/Engoo...

no idea what breaks it yet, no promises if i'll dust off djgpp/msvc6 and fix it and make a new release or whatever (targeting dos/w9x). Probably needs more sanity checking at load time.

has anyone made a search engine for code hosting services specifically? something so i can search github + gitlab + codeberg + (etc) all at once, as if i were just searching a single website
im guessing the answer is still "no", but this has been a wishlist thing of mine for a long time

But if we get manage to sway the youngest centrists, we might have a better chance. Society would be fractured, but it's a start.

I got a whole constitution on my Codeberg just for that. I'm currently building a Github page at this time, it's just not mobile friendly yet.

oh!! and I moved the blog to Codeberg too!

codeberg.org/terrehbyte/t...

The theme is on there too but no one should use it lol

I'm NOT a web dev so I'm sure it's full of wild hacks and quirks that work for me and no one else

Remember how nice getting your project found and receiving pull requests on GitHub used to feel? Still feels that way on Codeberg.

mais Codeberg reste un projet européen et Forgejo est super facile à héberger en local
November 15, 2025 at 6:07 PM
normal Codeberg s'appuie sur Forgejo qui est un fork de Gitea (qui doit être un fork de Gogs je crois)

I've been using #Codeberg for a new project since this morning and it's great

@dragonarchitect I will most likely add instructions for how to use Codeberg with Grebedoc at some later point soon since it is quite clear by now that both services can at least coexist and there is a lot of value in that; Grebedoc uses anycast, for example, so that page loads are fast anywhere […]

@dragonarchitect I have been actively working with Codeberg to do a migration from Pages v2 (the status quo) to git-pages (the backend of grebedoc) and in fact this was originally meant to be the primary use case for git-pages; however in practice even though it was deployed and you can use the […]

@whitequark Question: Is grebedoc intended to also be a more actively maintained alternative to codeberg pages as well? Codeberg has kinda put their pages feature into maintenance mode with no intentions to develop its featureset further.

@unlambda @aburka @futzle so if you have a good list somewhere I'd love for you to add it to a bug report on codeberg and I'll add it to the default conf

Huh! Looks prettier than when I switched over to Codeberg!

/etc/textbook in my Codeberg repository is updated. File names are renamed with alphanumerals in front of the original for proper ordering. It is largely unfinished, but should be much more coherent than before.

I almost had the list type working again last night but I ran out of steam.

Today hopefully I can get it done, along with utf8 strings, and the atomic proofs types (comparisons) then I'll be caught up, but with an improved library. Then I post to codeberg.

Thanks!

@hko@floss.social I’m trying to use `rpgpie` in WASM (nice crate btw), but the compilation fails because the underlying `pgp` crate needs the `wasm` feature. I would not like to create a Codeberg account just for this PR (I already have my own forgejo), but if you want me to do that, I’ll do it

Markdown files where you can comment and suggest edits? Like in a pull request? Sounds like GitHub, GitLab, Codeberg or Forge or whatever those are all called?

Salut !

If anyone has taken any interest in my work on Codeberg, here is the QR code you can print and cutout. They should fit inside printing paper as is. Double-sided tape is the best tool to use, and use two straps outdoors.

if you want an another alternative that isn't a mega corp, i started hosting my stuff on codeberg. it's pretty good if you don't need complex ci/cd and don't mind being invisible on search engines.
November 12, 2025 at 10:49 PM
Come to Codeberg, we have Luxray approving your CI request.
