They can sit in the cockpit and make engine sounds. Everyone would be happier that way.

Concorde fact of the day:

Concorde’s cockpit had over 1000 buttons, switches, dials, and knobs.

By comparison the a320 has about 575.

Despite this, Concorde’s cockpit felt relatively familiar to new pilots with instead technical procedures such as fuel transfer being the most complicated element.

If they’re gonna be bipedal, might as well make them 18m tall, add a cockpit, and put a traumatised teenager in there.

The Morane-Saulnier MS-1500 ‘Epervier’ from 1958 was a prototype ground attack aircraft.
In the cockpit, the observer sat in front and the pilot sat behind, in a slightly raised seat. This configuration gave both crew members excellent visibility for their respective tasks.

Apparently the book's headed even further south than the main research station, to the Sky Blu forward operating station. Wikipedia says it has a population of "up to 6".
