🤔 11 novembre : ne faut-il pas aujourd'hui, plutôt que de célébrer la victoire, suivre Paul Valéry et réfléchir à la fragilité de notre civilisation ?

Could also worryingly be exacerbated by mis-citations used to support assertions. Noticed cases of this in our experiments with LLMs and Q.E.D. for peer review.

I don’t trust anything, except if it comes from Norman Finkelstein. His books are the only reading I do that where I don’t check the citations.

The generated summaries were superficial, included errors/misleading information, were sometimes self-contradictory, didn’t include citations, and invented example data that didn’t exist. Not surprising, but the firsthand experience seemed to give them a new appreciation for the risks of LLMs. 3/3

I'd love citations if you've any to offer. Is learning not such a condition?
I'm curious how one distinguishes in-context learning from what humans do in school.
Weather the waveform is hosted on silicon or wetware, signs of learning entail Life's respect and consideration in my book.

Smart politicians avoid parking citations by implementing performance-based parking prices. Charging the lowest prices needed to keep at least one or two spaces available on every block makes it easy to find a legal space.

J'aime vraiment les citations 😀
Bravo aux développeurs de Mastodon.
Ceci dit, il faut maintenant 4 cliques pour pour changer la visibilité d'un message. Ça, ce n'est pas bien 🤔

I broke my hand on a bully of man-mountains face, and the docs at that same hospital tried to send me home, to save my life, they said. They respected my wish not leave my team weakened by an early DEROS. No Purple Hearts; just two small above and beyond combat citations, and Combat Infantry Bdg.
Yeah my dad doesn’t talk about it much, and I only met some people from his third tour when I was pretty young so know some about that.
5 Purple Hearts then tried to make sure he wasn’t awarded another because he would’ve been sent home for sure then
Respect to you too

How much of a rebel am I?
I use single quotes for dialogue – AND double quotes for non-dialogue citations.
‘Like this,’ said the man wearing the “Ask Me About My Punctuation Peculiarities” shirt.
Why? Because I can. And, as previously mentioned, nobody can stop me.
Muahaha.

i like this part! but i don’t think that the claim they make about the unequivocal treatment of the category of consciousness is true even of Capital, let alone in Marx’s other works from the same period or later! this is an interpretive argument they’re passing off as a fact without citations lol

Was reading one of these in FLSD last week, and in an eleven-page opinion the entirety of four pages was just citations of cases since July calling (I assume) bullshit on Hurtado/the preceding policy?
