And all of #ChthonicLight lore is technically canon divergent in the fact that instead of going to sleep until Elidibus wakes him up, Emet-Selch inhabits the body of an elezen and offers to travel with Arya as her retainer…all because he recognized her soul and wanted to be with her regardless.

I knew that Arya/Emet was going to be the endgame. It’s more how their relationship develops that took me by surprise.

Arya came about because I’m absolutely in love with the Reaper questline and thought it would be poetic/ironic in a way for a Reaper to fall in love (1/2)
