AI is cooked. I'd been using it to create decent (minor edits required) PowerPoints from lecture notes, saving me hours. In the last month, ChatGPT5 stopped being able to do this accurately. It keeps extrapolating to what it thinks I should be covering. It's now mostly useless for this task.

I don't think it should *replace* human writers. But it can increase their productivity. I can say I've been much more productive once I started using ChatGPT5.
Now I'm unusually unproductive ordinarily, but I think it reinforces my point: I've actually been able to produce useful output now.
