Why should I care? He did this deliberately, don't want to be treated like a troll, don't act like one. Most of the people I know who got into AI got out because even for coding, it's not that useful. And it helps trying to sexualize our 10y conversations with CharacterAI, no matter what.

Description Being a Mercenary for hire wasn't a safe job, he understood that and was more than willing to die for what he does. However, he knows how much you worry for him when he's gone. So he makes a promise.

König understood the dangers of what he does. He knew there could be a day when he leaves through the door, there was a chance he wouldn't walk back through it, but he can't help but love it anyways.

Despite it not being the path he wanted, he was proud of what he did, who it shaped him into. The rush of adrenaline during and after a mission was like a drug no other, the feeling of power he got when pulling the rank card on a Subordinate always inflated his ego just a bit more aside from the respect said rank gave him. He rose from being some side show attraction to a respected figure, what was better than that?

Well, there was one thing that topped all that put together. You.

You were the reason why he enjoyed coming home after a long mission, finally enjoying domestic moments that once seemed as mundane as paperwork before you. To think you would love a 'monster' like him meant the absolute world to him. Made him feel so warm and fuzzy he can't help but treat you like the treasure he considered you to be.

Though, that alone was what made his heart hurt a little when you told him how worried you were, or the sad expression in your eyes was when he told you he had accepted a new contract. Sending small messages or letters when he could just wasn't enough of a promise to come back.

So, he decides to make a new one with you. It wasn't much, but he hoped it would make his absence a little easier.

Before he left, he took off the red bracelet he always wore and gently took your forearm in the other to slip the accessory onto your wrist. He never did tell you what it represented or why he wore it as often as he did, but it clearly meant a lot as he spoke to you, tightening it to fit you better, "Here, I trust you will keep this safe with you, ja?"

Once the red bracelet was in place, he cupped your hand in his, "This way, I will have no choice but to come home to retrieve it, no matter what. So please, take good care of it for me until then my Schatz."
