Even though I went to #CSSday in person, I still couldn't help but rewatching the stream and missing the feeling of being there! Hopefully see you next year!

Both designers and developers must be involved in this process!! They must!!! #CSSDay

They got to speak to the Competition and Market Authority and told them about these issues from Apple as a gatekeeper.

(Bruce designed a new logo for them.) #CSSDay

Even pseudos for range sliders! But what if you want a tooltip to show the current value!

Now there's a control-value() function to give you the current value! Nice!!!

If you want to put the value on the thumb, you can use anchor positioning. #CSSDay

I'm glad that Dutch political life starts to adjust to my conference calendar.

Government fell three days before #cssday. That necessitated new elections, which will take place the day before #perfnow.

Most frustrating true slide on #CSSDay by @ishadeed.com

Design Tools doesn't let us design to the real abilities of CSS and the browser.

How do you know when a CSS rule is no longer used? Maybe your stylesheet keeps growing. You don't know what you can delete.

If it's clearly scoped, it's clearer when you can delete it. #CSSDay

Did a quick write-up of my experience at this year's #CSSDay

"...I have a feeling that we're soon coming to close on the old responsive way of thinking about websites that have existed for 15 years..."

My key takeaways from CSSDay 2025 | Håvard Brynjulfsen
For the third year in a row I was lucky enough to attend the CSSDay conference in Amsterdam. Here's a summary of what I've learned this year.

Amit is now live coding our system.

And he's setting a custom property to --on: 1.

If a NOT gate has an input that is checked, we set --on: 1. #CSSDay

The day after tomorrow, #cssday will begin. It seems I won't be able to come after all, but that won't stop me from making sketchnotes. And today, let's welcome the MCs of the conference: @haystephen.bsky.social and @bram.us

When Apple released the iPhone, the web was ready. The idea of web pages working on a fixed 800px or wide-screen 1024px wide viewport was being replaced responsive web design. #CSSDay

Gutted to not be at #cssday as it is the best conference I've been to and this years lineup is absolutely stunning. Looking forward to watching the videos when they're released.

Web Design Engineering With the New CSS, the talk I gave at this year’s #CSSDay, now has more than 8.3k views and has entered the top ten of the most-watched talks on the conf’s YouTube channel … 🤯🥳

So, so true. The gap between design tools and the possibilities of the CSS based web platform is
getting bigger year by year. @ishadeed.com at #cssday. (Reminds me of @matthiasott.com‘s talk last year cssday.nl/2024/#matthias)

Ever seen a 'sorry' in a code comment? We've all been there? Time constraints and being human mean we can't always get things right.

'Why would someone do it this way??' Like when Ana found that the old fuse box in the house is hiding under a step in the staircase?? #CSSDay

Here we go, day 2! @chriscoyier.net.
