A big part of it genuinely was how much work finding crd stories would go/not being happy with just reading as text, and apparently jp wiki does list map convo by when they were unlocked too, which was also part of why I was procrastinating on "try to read it all in order" thing

However, the defending forces destroyed one CRD and several Type 05s, causing congestion on the beach.

The landing force deployed a squad and a QBZ-191-armed Kestrel Defense Red Wings Vanguard Combat Robot Dog (CRD) via helicopter to assault the beach from the rear and intercept reinforcements.

I decided that I'm just an idiot and I must not understand how things work "properly" with any of these, so I went back to basics and ran through Kubernetes the Hard Way (github.com/kelseyhighto...). At no point, do the steps ever speak about building a CRD or CSI to connect to storage.

Good point. This can be a tough balance, as strong criticism often seems necessary to get positive change. But that same criticism can feed into the cynicism about the possibility of positive change. E.g. The CRD adopted an good advocacy strategy with regular reporting. Good! Yay! (cont)

I suppose it’s somewhat self-serving, but I honestly find it puzzling when Canadians attack their own government.

Most have no clue what it’s like to live in an authoritarian, corrupt, violent, oppressive place run by zealots.

The CRD Board is a dream compared to literally anywhere in the US.

The first statement definitely sparks reflection in me. Every government I’ve ever been a part of — Province (staff), CRD, City, Police Board, Transit Commission, Water Commission— has been strange in its own way. There really is no perfect governance system

The second statement is objectively true

Hi. Question. Why is the cost of running the bike valet nearly $450,000?

"...handing the bike valet service to the CRD to save $448,000."??

Facilities like Crystal Pool and Commonwealth should be CRD, not individual municipalities. Everyone uses these facilities, and as a resident of esquimalt I’d be happy to pitch in and share the tax burden.

You are correct about checking junk folder. CRD is looking at a 26% drop on pipeline valuation for 2026. I will be recommending to my RD board that we sent a similar letter, like TNRD, to the BC finance minister that the proposal of BC assessment be rejected…

Loughton says this program also trains the next generation of lifelong riders, which dovetails with active transportation and climate goals.

Alto says the benefit of this is far beyond the City, and is anxious to press CRD and BC Transit for program expansion.
