Heh. People complained about screens in classrooms even in the 60s and 70s. Back then, researchers were experimenting to see if kids could learn via computer.

In the 2000s the computers are there because vendors like Google want cradle-to-grave Google hardware/software/cloud customers.

Overall read of things: Not looking great that we'll see the northern lights in Colorado tonight, but it's worth a shot. Go east to avoid the cloud cover.

Appreciate any photos if you see it. Please send any AI aurora-glowing patio furniture pictures to @kylec.bsky.social

+1 on the shared aurora experience! For a while we all witnessed something magical together (me vicariously, since cloud cover blocked the sky where I live. I'm grateful for all the photos!)

Cloud cover over here by the Severn has been 100% ...

Maybe next time... :/

Current IR/Radar loop/trend to 7:20 PM EST, deep SWONT, most favored area, with a few holes in SCONT. But last night parts of EONT around the Kingston area-had 44-55% cloud cover & they had a good Aurora display. 🎲🎲 You never truly know how this plays out. #onwx #onstorm
