#C-Suite
was talking about this earlier on another thread, how I remember being a copywriter and having C-suite guys nitpick everything I did on review while sending emails exactly this incoherent. everyone has to impress YOU at that level; laziness signals that you don't have to impress anyone.
I mean, he was probably an idiot but this is pretty garden-variety rich guy/law firm partner/finance exec email construction. Too lazy to capitalize, punctuate, etc. properly. It's a status signaling.

(I am very serious about this).

Nah. 15 years ago, this type of writing was just a power move. A kind of "look at me, I'm a big shot sending emails from my iPhone to you peons in the offices." All the c-suite people were doing it. It was stupid.
honestly one of the most striking things about epstein's emails is the fact that the man, described in many places as "a genius," is essentially subliterate

We need to check the NYT C-suite...
November 13, 2025 at 3:13 AM
Take a hard look at the C suite of the NYT.

If there's a single class, sector or stratum that deserves liquidation is "elite media" line all of the c suite and editors at politico and axios first

Been hearing for three years at least that the c-suite group chat is on druuuuugs, and we're surprised they type like the letters are hiding from them
November 13, 2025 at 1:56 AM
Bud, you have not spent enough time reading emails between members of the c-suite of any large company.

They’re all subliterate.

This, but without a drop of irony.
November 13, 2025 at 1:29 AM
The higher up the corporate ladder you go, the more and more it looks like you and your buddy’s group chat. It’s almost like C-suite privilege to bang out five word responses to something mid-level managers probably sweated an hour on.

The “Sent from my iPhone” is optional but at least implied
Can none of these millionaires sex criminals write in full sentences? Have you heard of paragraphs? Punctuation? No wonder ChatGPT sounds like a genius to these clowns.

For sure, I'm sure the devs would prefer if we assumed *anything* off was a bug instead of a deliberate decision.

But, ya know...two's a coincidence, three's a pattern.

None of us have your C-suite roadmap in front of us. We don't know how far you're trying, or wanting, to enshittify this app.
November 13, 2025 at 1:00 AM
Oh no, this isn't sucking at their job. This is doing *exactly* what their C-suite wants.
November 13, 2025 at 12:49 AM
Vent rather than actual want, but I feel like perhaps NYT offices should be burned to the fucking ground, with the people and c-suite fucks who covered for the abuse of women and girls chained inside. Who enabled genocide. Who kept fueling the fire of transphobia and racism and ableism.

Thank you. I fucking hate him.

I’m really torn as 6100 people work there and if they shut down they’re out of a job (I don’t give a shit about the c suite).

Job losses are starting to be crushing. And who gets crushed? Regular people

So give the company to wage earners there.

All the C-suite people I’ve interacted with were semi-literate

Meanwhile, when I was starting out my career in writing/journalism one company had me come in to take a test in addition to our interview, and for what?! The c-suite can barely write 👀👀👀

I suspect ratings agencies and corporations are preparing two sets of statements, a White House friendly set for public release, and another for the C-Suite and “special clients”

For many years the Highlands, just outside city limits, was where all the c-suite types in Seattle lived. They didn't even have addresses there for a long time. It was just "Brad CEO, The Highlands, Washington". Not sure if that is still the place where they all go, but I wouldn't be surprised.
November 12, 2025 at 10:17 PM
When I worked in banking, I had a lot of email interaction with the C-suite. Grammar, punctuation, capitalization—not a thing they used.
November 12, 2025 at 9:47 PM
Gee.

Who to believe. The people who suspended Link and pretend not to understand either why they are wrong there, or what Link actually said, or another person suspended without rhyme or reason (unless the reason is, Bluesky c-suite are fascist sympathizers)

re: illiterate elites, that's just how millionaires and c suite people type. would love to know why
November 12, 2025 at 9:33 PM
They will hold this up now for as long as they can but likely bearish for a lot of tech companies about to lose their c-suite

From this tiny quote, it's not bizarre; that US workers "take over" is misleading, but this has gone on since the 1990s at least. The foreign company trains a US labor force to do future LABOR; company keeps ownership, C-suite, profits, etc. It's what Norway's Aker did with the Philly Navy Yard.

Female owned Fortune 500 company that’s disrupting the labor paradigm with bold new incentive structures!
