I'm done with the word "extremist" and this is a perfect example of why. If Bretbug has a substantive problem, he should name it. "Extremist" lets him not do that, and to equate Mamdani with the fascism Stephens says he opposes.
BTW, I'm a Jew and not afraid of Mamdani. Ain't about Judaism.

I mean, I think this about whole paragraphs / stories / careers (e.g. the Bretbug, Douthat, &c.) there now. To say nothing of their most famous alumnus grifter Bari Weiss.
Also genuinely unclear to me whether NYT op-ed writers undergo fact-checking. I've tried to find this out before.

I see the racism Bretbug! When he’s just holding a giant sign saying “I am a big racist!” I’m not gonna really dig deep into his charisma or whatever

that we have various flavors of bretbug and taylor "not my party" lorenz and very few outlets (and journalists) truthfully covering AI and antisemitism in the US is not by accident
these people are hired by and to appeal to a specific audience AND us, not just us, and not primarily us

exactly
it's kinda all mixed together right now, so you have to go look for the actual experts yourself because the selection of platforms we have in reality are wary giving these expert journalists dedicated support

I have UCH unfortunately and can attest to this. They denied the medication that works for me because it wasn’t the “preferred drug” (I.e. it wasn’t manufactured by the pharma company UHC made the most $$ from). I had to “fail” the preferred med first, which I did, at risk to my life. 1/2
