This is only the second #BL musical I've watched and, well, still not what they could be. Apart from the final song, the rest seemed very dull, and the boys seemed to be straining with the vocals.

"The Boy Foretold by the Stars" (Philipinnes, 2020)

Not a bad film, but some oddities relating to "destiny", i.e. reliance on it. The acting was natural and not OTT which I found refreshing. Set in a Catholic Boys' School which was interesting to me. Passed the time.

Sorry to say I didn't love this as much as I did the series. Perhaps if I had seen it first? I envied the friendship between the two. The acting, production, everything was on point but the series really was better.
