Worth noting that the picture and accompanying desc. were written by one guy in 2003, with no edits since other than for formatting. At one point, this is what the entire page for Bezier Triangle looked like. I think this is a case of bad notation, and possibly a not necessarily correct equation.

so the cubic bezier can be thought of as taking a triangle and then nudging the inside guiding points (e.g. αγ²), which is what it feels like in practice

I don't think I've seen this type of notation before. is there an actual element of multiplication here, abstract algebra style, or is it merely a notational trick to enumerate all the permutations more easily?

Affinity has its pros and cons, but one of the things I do like is that they actually have a setting for how big you want your bezier points with like five different options, from tiny to huge

I am begging, please make the bezier handles larger than one pixel. How about making the POINTS larger than one pixel??? Make them representative, not actual! I can't even use my lovely ergonomically-correct Cintiq because I can't click anything. Drawing with a mouse SUCKS.

Have you done that by collapsing one edge of a quadrilateral cubic bezier or just used a triangle?

IIRC (from Farin’s Curves and Surfaces in CAGD) you need to have maybe a quintic Bezier to get C1 continuity for a Bezier triangle (but I may be misremembering).

didnt thought about possibly that bezier curve can go on higher dimensions... try a 3d bezier curved volume inside 4d!!
