Not a lot of ppl know about this dish outside of Singapore but Bak kut Teh is another quintessentially Singaporean dish. It's a giant piece of pork cooked inside a medicinal pork broth and served with a side of rice and pickles. Comforting but VERY fatty.

I had a little bit of a cold so treated myself to some yummy #Bakkutteh #soup from #chinbrothers #restaurant.
I'm pretty sure my clumsy brain and mouth called it Mah Bootay soup when I ordered it. They gave me the right soup. My booty feels better.

Ehhh we share a lot of similar dishes with other Asian countries but I would always recommend bakkutteh (pork rib soup) there are two versions. Herbal one and pepper one. Both are really good imo. Herbal is known to be Malaysian bakkutteh and pepper one is known to be Singapore's version.
