As a Canadian that went to Defcon as far back as the 90's, she's right. It sucks though. I missed #BsidesRoc this year because of it. I'll miss @bsidesbuffalo.bsky.social too. And DC. And HOPE.

If you're at #bsidesroc right now, consider stopping by the lock pick village and donating a few bucks. They just had someone come in and trash a half dozen picks and leave. This happens regularly and they do this out of (what's left of) the goodness of their heart.
