If we are around to see a future “Just Do STEM LOL” is gonna have to be one of those things we have public rituals about condemning
I think the belief by the powerful that "people will put up with many things if you are excellent at math" is incredibly revealing in terms of understanding How We Got Here

Even as far as Real Politik Parenting goes this is already outdated thinking! STEM is not the silver bullet elites imagined. Nice to be good at math, but this is Joe Jackson screaming at his kids to ballroom dance.

filibuster would use the third declension by analogy to other r-stem words like pater, so in this case would be unchanged in the nominative singular, but also would be masculine, so you would need to change the verb to match:
filibuster delendus est
filibuster delendus est

This, and nobody seems to understand the basic fact that humanities departments are money MAKERS not money losers. They pay the same tuition to be in my class as they do in their STEM class but I make a lot less than that professor and I don't need any special equipment.
But it’s dumb simple math for the car dealers on the board: every foreign language professor is free tuition for three nursing students and no one thinks about whether that actually adds up.

STEM doesnt want it either due to the 20-80% error rate depending on the study and how egregious bad it had to be before the researchers called it "wrong".
Would YOU want a lab partner that routinely confused water and fire?

This problem with the Bond franchise seems to stem from the relatively recent need for every single thing to be explained and reasoned. I really believe this is a detriment to modern entertainment.

I don’t know why you’re talking to, it’s usually MAGA claims the humanities are pointless. I’ve never heard the suggestion STEM should be removed because it’s pointless.

Blood Riot meets his burning stare and decides cherries and Dynamight may be his two favorite things. He steps closer and places the stem in his mouth. It takes a second, but he sticks out his tongue and shows him the tied stem.

There are uses for complex learning algorithms in STEM. None of them are what these people are advertising, and none of them would be worth the other costs/damage. In a way, I do feel bad for like computational biologists whose work is now conceptually tied to this junk.

She seems great politically, and would be the first woman with a STEM PhD in the Senate. But to be honest, I don’t know if she can beat Sununu. He’s the son of a former governor, and NH is still pretty conservative in the rural areas. I grew up there, and I see lots of trump signs near my parents…
