Does the #NewMusicShow really have to go in this slot? 😕 @bbcradio3bot.bsky.social #bbcr3

Keir Starmer came over extremely well (imho) on BBCR3 ‘Private Passions’. A decent bloke & a good dad/family man. Also very musical. Plainly full of good plans (music in schools, easier for musicians in the EU). But still just plans. Reform will be the challenge in 2028. Plans won’t defeat it.

Hollie was brilliant on this weeks #BBCR3 #PrivatePassions - her stories of the impact of her grandmother’s positive
influence on her upbringing really reminded me of my own “granny” who I still miss more than 3 decades after she passed.

*FIFTEENTH EVENING ON BBCR3 KLAXON*

It's that wonderful thing tomorrow where the 15th Evening falls on a Wednesday and a choir is chosen as tribute to plough through Psalm 78 LIVE ON THE RADIO.

The question, however, is: how long will the psalm take? Place your bets now...

The BBC just needs to divert its news funding into Radio 3.

That would solve all its problems.

Good to hear The Dance Before the Ark from Honegger’s King David on BBCR3 Private Passions today with Ursula Jones – the Alleluias regularly featured in Caius Choir recitals in Peter Tranchell’s time

Michael Pärt too polite to correct Kate Molleson's pronunciation of his (and his father's) name. #cotw #BBCR3

Funny how none of the BBCR3 presenters on here ever has the courtesy to reply. And I know some of them.

No disrespect to Tom Savage but Hannah French is a better fit for #BBCR3's Saturday Morning.

Gorgeous singing by the BBC Singers from their concert in Norfolk and Norwich Festival conducted by James MacMillan, Cathedral of St John the Baptist.
