#Atrocities
these atrocities won’t be forgotten and these agents will be judged after trump leaves.
Most of us have no idea how bad it is inside ICE detention centers because they have kept it hidden. Then a truth teller shows up and says it plain.

The conditions are filthy. The treatment is inhumane. The abuse is Systematic and routine.

He wondered at the atrocities human kind was capable of committing. The majority of those housed below were ill, mentally or physically, not witches. Most were poor victims--the outcasts of society; or the opposite, people so blessed, others coveted their lives.

This is exactly why historical memory matters. Atrocities don’t begin with gas chambers — they begin with people convincing themselves that other humans deserve less dignity, less compassion, less safety. Silence isn’t neutrality; it’s participation.
If you are able to look at this and still not see the Gestapo. You have not only failed at the Christian you say you are.
You have failed at being a human.
You are the person who turned away when children were being murdered in gas chambers.
It didn’t start in gas chambers.

I'm a Christian. When self-described "Christians" commit atrocities, pointing that out isn't Christophobia. It's fact.

Responding in horror to the murder of thousands is not "Islamophobia," it's humanism. Whatever wrongs the US commits does not make something like the wrong of 9/11 right.

"Finland deports Wagner fighter back to Russia "

Why not investigate him and his actions, and prosecute him?
Wagner members are known for the atrocities they committed, why would this one not have been involved in such atrocities?
Finland deports Wagner fighter back to Russia
The soldier who illegally snuck into Finland through the woods and asked for asylum in June was deported back to Russia on Friday.

💙BLUE COVE 💙

Today the Cove is Blue

The hunters went out in search of wild dolphins. All boats returned shortly after leaving making it a blue cove day.

Dolphins migrating passed the Taiji coastline are therefore safe today

Please continue to speak out about these atrocities in Japan

Yes. That is why their foreignness is consistently stressed before all the murder, torture, and theft. It's that they think atrocities cannot happen if everyone was born from a perfect ancestry in their problem homeland

As Trump gets away with Pardoning Jan 6'rs, blackmail, threats, terrorization of our own citizens with ICE-Goons

Lawrence never let up in his coverage of Trump's atrocities.
And for that my gratitude is beyond expression.

Thank you Lawrence
You are an American hero

*529 atrocities #LestWeForgetTheHorrors
November 19, 2025 at 4:03 AM
I wrote that one below. Unfortunately, we are already at 500 atrocities for the second term. To put that into perspective, @mcsweeneys.net catalogued 1,056 horrors for the entire first term. The pace at which the Trump administration commits atrocities has more than quadrupled.

Every day we get more evidence that these atrocities are happening by the federal and state police. And it gets harder for people to deny. Clergy, protestors, citizens and the media are all victims. It’s like Vietnam protesting, every day more people are joining in, till we aren’t denied

oh same, this country never stops the atrocities, just finds new ways of commiting them

Not that I think the states are really that much better when it comes to this sort of thing, but I wonder if some of the differences in just how blatant it is in Canada have to do w/a lot of Canada’s atrocities towards Indigenous folks only coming to light more recently?

Israeli Knesset member urges the international community not to wait for another genocide, warning Israel is moving toward mass atrocities in the occupied West Bank.
November 19, 2025 at 3:35 AM
There's no coming back of this America. You stood by and do nothing while this, and other atrocities happen. Your shame is known worldwide. It will never ever be forgotten. You the people, turned your backs on democracy.

Actually, the real lesson of the Holocaust is: there is no fucking lesson because mass atrocities aren't teachable moments that make us all better.

But sometimes you salvage something from the wreckage.

And if no other lesson can be taken from the Holocaust it should be OPPOSE GENOCIDE & FASCISM.

ICE are definitely criminals. I'm glad some are getting caught, and I can't wait for the day when they are ALL held accountable for the atrocities they have been committing.

Atrocities are easier to commit if respect for the victim can be neutralized. For this reason, humiliation handed out by those with power can be ominous. The link between humiliation and atrocity is often found.
November 19, 2025 at 2:55 AM
sisko will just log on here and say anything. "in war, both sides commit atrocities." no they don't. that isn't true
November 19, 2025 at 2:51 AM
That's what we had to do here, the last week of the Farmers Markets. It's insane to me that there are people actually wanting to commit these atrocities.
November 19, 2025 at 2:39 AM
this is a genuine question i ask without any sarcasm or malice in my heart, but i'm genuinely unsure how one could look at the state of this nation and believe in the system of government that has lead us here, or to any of the atrocities the united states has committed in its history?
