This is due to Wright's on-site consulting for four months in 1928 relating to the "Textile Block" construction used in the hotel. Albert McArthur had been a draftsman for Wright, and specifically asked Wright to assist with implementing the textile block system, which became a signature element of the hotel's appearance.

My view is he probably spent too much time in Washington. When some years ago he introduced Jack Keane as the architect of the successful surge in Iraq I almost fell off my stool since neither was true. He was one of several involved and it’s only success as giving W political cover.

This means the "customer" for your next high-value product is no longer a human user clicking a button. It is an invisible, autonomous AI agent or partner algorithm. That agent needs a reliable API and strict governance rules to act on your human customer's behalf. 𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙢𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙢𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙧𝙪𝙡𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙞𝙣𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙤𝙧 𝙗𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙞𝙧𝙧𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙫𝙖𝙣𝙩. The old ratio of 1 PM to a few engineers is dead; the new sustainable ratio may be 1 PM to a thousand agents. This is why we need to move from feature-loving to Governance Architecture. And this is how we convert existential risk into lasting career capital.
