i have been looking at anytype for note taking, tasks and writing in general but i think it doesn’t have a full calendar feature yet it just lets you see what you created in calendar view… it might work for that tho

Looks like it's due to Anytype being heavily focused on autonomy, privacy, and actual control over your work, with zero online features except those you actively choose to employ (which only function WHILE you employ them)

господи как я благодарна себе из прошлого что в процессе наблюдения за работой своего возлюбленного через обсидиан вдохновилась на пользование anytype и теперь могу структурировать информацию как базу данных и не терять свои наработки. 🙏

anytype decided to change the way its database work and i had to spend the last hour of my waking fixing my database because i messed up 🙃
it _could've_ been worse but the fact that i messed up at all and can't undo was bad enough as it is

I deeply identify with working on your phone, by the way. I do so much little things there. It's part of why I haven't switched from Anytype to Obsidian yet.

giving #anytype a shot over #notion. Interested in the "local desktop first" vibe and feels far less bloaty. Let's see how this goes

I haven't used Notion or Obsidian so maybe I'm off the mark here but if we're talking about note taking & knowledge management? I've been loving AnyType, even use it for my game design document (planning to add a public template when I have time, one day)

🪴After more hours of research, I'm actually trying the app called "Anytype" and I think i like it! (already transferring my notes so yeah ^^) it's a different workflow to create & get used to but it's enjoyable so far. And the sync work well from desktop to phone, indispensable for the brainworms🙃

I'm not leaving Scrivener like I'm leaving Notion, I just prefer Scrivener for more fleshed ideas and Obsidian for the spitballing stage.
And then I like AnyType for databases and to do lists and stuff.

I don't have a problem with any type beliefs when it comes to a god or goddess anytype of figure . i only get pissed off when I get told to pray something away when ik if something wrong with me and gets dismissed

They aren't #Obsidian notes, or #Logseq / #iaWriter / #tangent / #TextEdit / #Nota / #AnyType / #Taio / #TaskPaper / #vsCode notes, though I can use any of those apps as a lens to view and work with them.
