Verdict: 2 - Vegas Stakes is a functional faux-gambling game. NPC interaction is an interesting mechanic, but unless you’re really into the included games, the repetition and grind will be hurdles to enjoyment.

part of the story is the alternative numbering systems devised at the time. One approach touted by Duquesne's Buff Donelli and Arizona's Miles Casteel (the latter also proposed having the yard lines numbered from 0 to 100) called for alphanumeric combinations corresponding to each player's offensive position and string. Under this scheme, the starting left end wore E1, the second-string left end wore E3, the starting right tackle wore T2, and his backup wore T4, and so on. Neither Duquesne nor Arizona used the alphanumeric combination, but LSU used it during the 1951 season, as did Kentucky for a few games. Q: Why is Sound Transit choosing numbers for Link light rail lines? There are several advantages to using numbered lines. Compared to colors or themed names, numbers and letters are more culturally neutral and can scale more easily as the system grows. Numbers provide an intuitive, easy to remember system for all riders. Arabic numerals are the only identifier instantly understood in languages using Latin, Cyrillic, Chinese, Japanese and Korean characters, etc. Even for languages that do not use Arabic numerals, many international transportation applications (such as airport gates) still use Arabic numerals. Low numbers also imply priority and importance to riders, and this is appropriate to Link light rail as a fast, frequent, reliable and high-capacity service. Though we would prefer to use letters for Link light rail if designing the system from scratch, we recognize and honor King County Metro’s pre-existing intent to continue using letters as it expands from six to 26 Rapid Ride bus lines. For this reason, we have avoided letter designations within King County except for four stations on the Sounder line and one station on the Sounder line. Though a numbered system for Link can conflict with local bus routes, we see this as less problematic than either letters or colors because bus routes are already widely duplicated between agencies. For example, Metro, Pierce Transit, Everett Transit and Kitsap Transit all have a Route 4, yet with little to no resulting rider confusion. Given our commitments to our partner agencies and to system designs that are intuitive and equitable, an alphanumeric system with numbered Link lines is the best solution Q: How will Sound Transit avoid rider confusion with King County Metro routes 1, 2 and 3? King County Metro routes 1, 2, and 3 are short trolley routes that connect Queen Anne, Belltown, First Hill, the Central District, Leschi and Madrona. These routes would connect with the lines at Seattle Center, Westlake, University St, or Pioneer Square stations. However, these routes would not share stop or platform signs and would only appear together in digital products, trip-planning tools, or interagency products such as system maps. We will work closely with Metro to ensure that our wayfinding and trip planning tools clearly differentiate between services.

A group of residents gathered to observe several ICE agents applying extreme physical force to protestors on a street in Evanston on Friday, October 31, 2025. There, DHS agents 1) used excessive force against multiple protestors, 2) subjecting these protestors to significant risk and harm, 3) deployed pepper spray without warning against a crowd of non-violent protestors, 4) threatened the use of excessive force against non-violent protestors, and 5) some of these agents failed to wear alphanumeric numbers and badges, in violation of this court’s TRO. One of the agents then grabbed the young man and threw him onto his back. At this point, the agent’s full weight was on top of the young man, holding him down. One of the federal agents proceeded to “grab the young man’s head and bash [it] on the street at least two times.” Exhibit 136 (Littel Decl.) at ¶ 13. Then, as people in the crowd screamed in Case: 1:25-cv-12173 Document #: 188 Filed: 11/03/25 Page 2 of 11 PageID #:3977 3 opposition, the agent punched the young man twice in the head. I worked somewhere where you had to change your alphanumeric password every month which sounded good except it accepted you only changing one character. Most people just used a word with a single number then changed the number each month and for some the word was their own name.
