Ah we’re currently in Perth dealing with ALCOA expanding into our endangered, endemic forest (jarrah wood) and then saying they’ll rehab the land. They’ve been here 80 years and 0% has been successfully rehabilitated. It’s around our only water supply but the WA govt loves the mining money.

Alcoa closes an aluminium plant in WA because it's "not profitable." Turns out it was because they knew they were getting a rare earths processing plant built for them, with no capital outlay?

We could have had state-owned industry, but no...This looks like a fking stitch up.
