AWS Marketplace now open for India-based sellers supporting transactions in Indian Rupees (INR)
Buyers and sellers in India can now transact locally in AWS Marketplace, with invoicing in Indian Rupees (INR), and with simplified tax compliance through AWS India. With this launch, India-based sellers can now register to sell in AWS Marketplace and offer paid subscriptions to buyers in India. India-based sellers will be able to create private offers in US dollars (USD) or INR. Buyers in India purchasing paid offerings in AWS Marketplace from India-based sellers will receive invoices in INR, helping to simplify invoicing with consistency across AWS Cloud and AWS Marketplace purchases. Sellers based in India can begin selling paid offerings in AWS Marketplace and can work with India-based Channel Partners to sell to customers. AWS India will facilitate the issuance of tax-compliant invoices in INR to buyers, with the independent software vendor (ISV) or Channel Partner as the seller of record. AWS India will automate the collection and remittance of Withholding Tax (WHT) and GST-Tax Collected at Source (GST-TCS) to the relevant tax authorities, fulfilling compliance requirements for buyers. During this phase, non-India based sellers can continue to sell directly to buyers in India through AWS Inc., in USD or through AWS India by working through authorized distributors. To learn more and explore solutions available from India-based sellers, https://aws.amazon.com/marketplace/solutions/india. To get started as a seller, India-based ISVs and Channel Partners can register in the https://aws.amazon.com/marketplace/partners/management-tour?ref_=header_modules_sell_in_aws. For more information about buying or selling using AWS Marketplace in India, visit the https://aws.amazon.com/legal/awsin/ and https://external-mp-channel-partners.s3.us-west-2.amazonaws.com/AWS+India_MPO_CheatSheet_Seller.pdf.

Start collaborating on multi-partner opportunities with Partner Connections (Preview)
Today, AWS Partner Central announces the preview of Partner Connections, a new feature allowing AWS Partners to discover and connect with other Partners for collaboration on shared customer opportunities. With Partner Connections, Partners can co-sell joint solutions, accelerate deal progression, and expand their reach by teaming with other AWS Partners. At the core of Partner Connections are two key capabilities: connections discovery and multi-partner opportunities. The connections discovery feature uses AI-powered recommendations to streamline Partner matchmaking, making it easier for Partners to find suitable collaborators and add them to their network. With multi-partner opportunities, Partners can work together seamlessly to create and manage joint customer opportunities in APN Customer Engagements (ACE). This integrated approach allows Partners to work seamlessly with AWS and other Partners on shared opportunities, reducing the operational overhead of managing multi-partner opportunities. Partners can also create, update, and share multi-partner opportunities using the https://docs.aws.amazon.com/partner-central/latest/APIReference/aws-partner-central-api-reference-guide.html. This allows Partners to collaborate with other Partners and AWS on joint sales opportunities from their own customer relationship management (CRM) system. Partner Connections (Preview) is available to all eligible AWS Partners who have signed the ACE Terms and Conditions and have https://docs.aws.amazon.com/partner-central/latest/getting-started/account-linking.html. To get started, log in to AWS Partner Central and review the https://partnercentral.awspartner.com/partnercentral2/s/resources?Id=0698a00000H8BizAAF for more information. AWS Partner Central now supports dedicated Slack channels for collaboration on co-selling opportunities
AWS Partners can now request dedicated Slack channels through AWS Partner Central to collaborate with AWS sales teams on ACE co-selling opportunities. This feature helps simplify communication, ensuring all members stay updated on deal progression, enabling better collaboration and more efficient deal closure for strategic customer engagements. Partners can request a Slack channel for an eligible open opportunity in the Collaboration Channels tab within the ACE Pipeline Manager in AWS Partner Central. The AWS sales team will receive notifications for collaboration requests through the AWS Secure Connect Slack application, allowing them to create dedicated Slack channels. Individuals from AWS and Partner opportunity teams, including account managers, solution architects, and success managers, can then engage directly through the channels for associated opportunities. These Slack channels include enhanced security controls to ensure only the designated opportunity team participates, helping to safeguard confidentiality. Each channel is also integrated with AWS Partner Central, delivering real-time updates on deal progress—such as stage changes and next steps—all within Slack. This new feature builds on the Slack Connect capability made available earlier this year. This feature is available globally to ACE-eligible AWS Partners working on high-value deals, excluding deals related to national security or customers in the Greater China Region. Log in to AWS Partner Central today to request Slack channels directly through the ACE Pipeline Manager in Partner Central and start collaborating, or ask your AWS sales contacts to create a channel.

AWS Marketplace now allows sellers to enhance product detail pages with videos and images through a new self-service promotional media feature. Prominently shown on product detail pages, promotional media provides customers with an enriched way to discover and evaluate products in AWS Marketplace. This launch expands media support to images and provides sellers a self-service way to add and manage media and related metadata. Sellers can now directly upload media through AWS Marketplace Management Portal or reference public S3 links. AWS Marketplace expands Japan consumption tax support for Channel Partner Private Offers
Starting today, AWS Marketplace expands its Japan consumption tax (JCT) support for Channel Partner Private Offers (CPPOs), enhancing the tax experience for Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and Channel Partners. For transactions where Japan ISVs authorize Japan Channel Partners to resell to Japan addressed buyers, AWS Japan G.K. ("AWS Japan") will now collect the 10% JCT for the first leg of the transaction between ISVs and Channel Partners, issue a tax qualified invoice (TQI) to the Channel Partners and disburse the JCT to ISVs. AWS Japan will continue to collect the 10% JCT for the second leg of the transaction between Japan Channel Partners and Japan buyers and issue a TQI to the buyers, as previously established under the Japan Marketplace Facilitator rule. This launch unifies the compliance across both transactions, creating a seamless tax experience. This feature is applicable for Japan ISVs and Japan Channel Partners when transacting via the AWS Japan Marketplace Operator. To learn more, please visit the https://aws.amazon.com/jp/local/invoice-faq/ or https://docs.aws.amazon.com/marketplace/latest/userguide/user-guide-for-sellers.html.

AWS Marketplace announces enhanced pricing dimension capabilities for sellers
Today, AWS Marketplace announces enhanced https://docs.aws.amazon.com/marketplace/latest/userguide/saas-subscriptions.html#:~:text=Each%20Pricing%20Dimension%20represents%20a%20feature%20or%20service%20that%20you%20can%20set%20a%20per%2Dunit%20price%20for.%20Examples%20of%20dimensions%20include%20users%2C%20hosts%20scanned%2C%20and%20GB%20of%20logs%20ingested capabilities, increasing limits and improving flexibility for sellers managing their product pricing. These enhancements increase the maximum pricing dimensions from 24 to 200, enable immediate use of new SaaS dimensions, and remove the 90-day price update restriction for dimensions without active subscriptions. These enhancements address key product pricing needs for sellers offering complex enterprise software. With 200 dimensions each for contract and usage-based pricing, sellers can now fully represent pricing across multiple features, user types, and consumption metrics in a single listing; matching the same pricing structures they offer outside of AWS Marketplace. When sellers add new usage dimensions to their public offers, these become available immediately for use. For instance, when a seller launches a new feature, subscribers can now instantly access it. Similarly, for dimensions without active subscriptions, sellers can adjust prices to align with their external pricing strategies without waiting through multiple 90-day periods. These enhancements to pricing dimensions are now available in all https://docs.aws.amazon.com/marketplace/latest/buyerguide/supported-regions.html where AWS Marketplace is supported. To learn more, visit the https://docs.aws.amazon.com/marketplace/latest/userguide/saas-subscriptions.html#, or access the https://aws.amazon.com/marketplace/management/offers/ to try the new capabilities.
