I went to the local 6th form comprehensive. In my year three kids went to @UniofOxford (a record at the time). My offer was AAB. I am certain I would not have got in to @NewCollegeOx on the basis of the #AlevelResults algorithm. Mocks were used only to give me a kick up the arse.

Everything about creating #AlevelResults out of thin air is nonsense. A Level is an external assessment process but there is nothing to externally assess. If there was more CA and coursework, then at least there would be something legitimately available for external scrutiny
