MAN3432, a 1971 Leyland Atlantean PDR2 "Jumbo" with Alexander AL-type bodywork, draws up outside Kirkby Stephen East. New to Liverpool as 1235 - a number which it still carries above the destination blind - this is one of several vehicles sold to the Isle of Man, whose livery it still carries. MAN/Alexander ALX300 X805SRM stands at Warcop having brought in a shuttle from Brough. Nice though this bus was, I must admit I was very jealous to see that mechanical problems meant that Sunday's run was performed with a Volvo B10/Wright Renown! It's always nice to see a vehicle preserved in a non-standard livery. Against the sea of WM Metrobuses preserved in basic Travel West Midlands livery, A764WVP makes a pleasant breath of fresh air, beautifully-presented in a garish yellow and blue livery advertising Travelcards. A livery which will always stand out to me is the white, green, and orange scheme of Henley's of Abertillery. PKG702Y is beautifully-presented Leyland Tiger with Plaxton Supreme IV bodywork which made me very reminiscent of school trips twenty years ago - although the branding is not for Henley's, but instead KT Coaches.

Finally managed to catch 22402 today, heading past my local tram stop in Droylsden, meaning I've now caught all five of them! Also saw 22404 heading down Princess Street in the city centre. 📸🚌
