Okay, so xz's BCJ filter indeed is dependent on the size of the page table *sob*
Screenshot of xz source code describing the arguments to the lzma_bcj_arm64_encode function, specifically the parameter `start_offset`: The lowest 32 bits of the offset in the executable being filtered. (start highlight) For the ARM64 filter, this must be a multiple of four. For the very best results, this should also be in sync with 4096-byte page boundaries in the executable due to how ARM64's ADRP instruction works. (end highlight) The other parameters are `buf`: Buffer to be filtered in place, `size`: Size of the buffer and the `return`: Number of bytes that were processed in `buf`. This is at most `size`. With the ARM64 filter, the return value is always a multiple of 4, and at most 3 bytes are left unfiltered. As you can see, this is again probably assumed to always be a multiple of 4. Further info is the `since` information for this function (5.7.1alpha) and the full declaration: ``` extern LZMA_API(size_t) lzma_bcj_arm64_encode( uint32_t start_offset, uint8_t *buf, size_t size) lzma_nothrow; ``` Another piece of code, highlighting the comment saying "start_offset must be a multiple of four." Full code: ``` extern LZMA_API(size_t) lzma_bcj_arm64_encode(uint32_t start_offset, uint8_t *buf, size_t size) { // start_offset must be a multiple of four. start_offset &= ~UINT32_C(3); return arm64_code(NULL, start_offset, true, buf, size); } ``` Final code snippet showing the branch for the ADRP instruction with a long comment, again blabbering on about a 4 GiB range. Note that the ARM docs for this instruction say: « ADRP Form PC-relative address to 4KB page This instruction adds an immediate value that is shifted left by 12 bits, to the PC value to form a PC-relative address, with the bottom 12 bits masked out, and writes the result to the destination register. » The comment is: « ADRP instruction: Only values in the range +/-512 MiB are converted. Using less than the full +/-4 GiB range reduces false positives on non-code sections of the input while being excellent for executables up to 512 MiB. The positive effect of ADRP conversion is smaller than that of BL but it also doesn't hurt so much in non-code sections of input because, with +/-512 MiB range, nine bits of 32 need to match to trigger a conversion (two 10-bit match choices = 9 bits). » The code is: ``` } else if ((instr & 0x9F000000) == 0x90000000) { const uint32_t src = ((instr >> 29) & 3) | ((instr >> 3) & 0x001FFFFC); ```

A less centralized network... may have no single point of failure OTHER ANALYTICAL FRAMEWORKS 4-104. The district stability framework assists planners in identifying and mitigating sources of instability. Because of the uniqueness of the stability environment in each district within an area of operations, the district stability framework was designed to identify and mitigate sources of instability. The interagency conflict assessment framework is another framework used to understand conflict. This common understanding informs U.S. policy and planning decisions. It may also include steps to establish a strategic baseline against which US government engagement can be evaluated. It is a both a process and a tool available for use by any US government agency to supplement interagency planning (For more information on interagency conflict assessment framework, see the U.S. government publication Interagency Conflict Assessment Framework.)
