As often, I went with a minimalist (and somewhat brutalist) approach and a film noir style for this photo.

A high-contrast black-and-white photograph explores the theme of “Unusual Crop” through stark minimalism and emotional ambiguity. Dominating the frame is a rough asphalt surface, its texture captured in sharp detail, each grain of gravel catching the light. Normally, I would have centered the flower and did some post production work in Photoshop but the 52 Frames challenge was an 'Unusual Crop' which only allowed editing when taking the photo. #52Frames_unusualcrop
