I stare out the window of an ancient factory, and see an imperfect pillar of an imperfect town, where everyday people just tried to get by, sacrificing their todays in pursuit of better tomorrows.

It was never supposed to be easy or comfortable or even fair.

I often wonder about the stories old factories could tell.

Turns out they’re there for the taking, and all we have to do is look out their windows.

Now they make memories.

So while crowds fill every corner of this lovingly rebuilt industrial age factory, I head up to an empty floor.

Inspiration seems to lurk in the places we often fail to observe. So let’s look for it there.
