Trump’s rise has fueled fears about US global leadership. But isolationism won’t make Americans safer or richer. In this Substack piece from October, I put they case for why liberal internationalism better serves American national interests. michaelmcfaul.substack.com/p/the-case-f...

Yet again just before Trump meets Zelenskyy he gets his orders from the Kremlin. Trump being fed directly by Putin the line to take so he can do Moscow's bidding. Trump is consistently acting not just against the interests of Europe & the West but the USA.

When will EU realise that MAGA-US is now one of its main adversaries? And not only in trade wars (in which it is the main one)?
Denmark lost more troops per capita in the post 9/11 war on Afghanistan. Saying they “are not a good ally” because they won’t surrender their territories to the US is lunacy. We are betraying our allies to satisfy the whims of a would-be Emperor for whom the US is not enough.
They’re again advocating against Denmark when it comes to Greenland

And also quite destructive to the US’ real strategic interests. All NATO members can hear what the vp is saying. How much more of this will it take before Europe gets serious about decoupling its security architecture from the US?
