In Lebanon & Gaza, Israel resisted a ceasefire for months. With Iran, Israel requested a ceasefire after 9 days due to the pain Iran's missiles inflicted.

This is precisely why Netanyahu is likely to restart the war - he can't tolerate that the outcome of his war is mutual deterrence.
